I am almost 50, the number of times I can get the ol’ compass needle pointing north are limited and hearing "Brady deep to Hopkins…TOUCHDOWN!!!’ three or four times a week would use most of my opportunities up anyway.

I am closer to 60 than 50.

You know how to make a dirty old man?

  1. Start with a dirty young man.
  2. Add age.

From Chevvs on the Planet who has a quality media source with knowledge of a lot of stuff in Foxboro.

"Hearing lots of noise that Deandre Hopkins is up for a trade by the Texans.
What might BB give up for him?

$13.3M/ for the next 3 years. A bargain.

He’ll be 28 in 3 months.
career (reg season): 3X 1st team All Pro

7 years, 8600 yds, 54 TDs.
Missed 1 game in 7 years.
Ranked 4th best WR in 2019 behind Chris Godwin, Julio and Michael Thomas.

Cya 23 (and a 3rd round pick too if necessary), hello SB! (If TB is signed)"

“Since the franchise tag isn’t position-specific for offensive linemen, they’re basically paying left tackle money to keep Thuney out of the market, more than $15 million for one year”

If this is accurate the Brady era may be over, don’t see how they can fit a QB of his caliber under the cap but I’m no cap expert, and we will see the the development of whom many think with be a great QB. The Jarrett Stidham era might have just begun.

Studham.
