I was gonna say the same thing Mike. While I do absolutely wish him well this is like when I lost the love of my life, Melissa one day after 10 beautiful years.
TAMPA BAYâSkeptically looking down at the red jersey laying on the floor beside empty bottles of probiotics, a bleary-eyed Tom Brady woke up from a week-long long kombucha bender Thursday to discover that he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. âUgh, the last thing I remember was taking that shot of ginger lemon tea,â said Brady, vaguely recalling a conversation about his impending free agency with a juice bar employee who had tried to cut him off after his 8th cold-pressed bottle of pomegranate cleanse kombucha. âHow did I get here? And why do I have all these pictures of Bruce Arians on my phone? Shit, I decide to cut loose for one week and look at what happens. Iâm never breaking pliability again.â At press time, Brady was working up the courage to call his wife, Gisele BĂźndchen, and tell her that he had sold their home.
I would like to go on record as saying the guy most likely to form that Edelman-esque mind meld with Tampa Tom is 6â5 Harvard educated tight end Cameron Brate.
You heard it here first.
I think Tampa is excited.
They sure are. How could they not be? They got the freaking GOAT.
Hahaha this is true!!!
Kind of like when Patrick Roy went to Colorado!
Not quite. Unlike Roy, Brady isnât taking the whole damned team with him ⌠yet.
Hey take it to the soccer subforum!
Lmao true hahahaha
No thanks
true, being replaced by Blaine Gabbart would be an insult, but the GOAT? that is straight up, full tilt, full time porn star!
And there it is. The underlying reason for all the changeâŚ
From Stern this morning:
Two years ago, Brady said, he had to make a transition toward tending more to his family because Bundchen said he wasnât pulling his weight at home. She wrote him a letter detailing the problems in their marriage, and he missed OTAs that year because of it. He still keeps the letter in a drawer.
âShe didnât feel like I was doing my part for our family,â Brady said. âShe felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house and all of a sudden when the season would end, I would be like, âGreat, let me get into all my other business activities. Let me get into my football training.â And sheâs sitting there going, âWell, when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?â And that was a big part of our marriage. I had to, like, check myself. Because sheâs like, âI have goals and dreams too.ââ
Her point was, âWell, yeah, of course this works for you. It all works for you. But it doesnât work for me. Because you can get caught up in your life where you think a relationshipâs great, because it only works for you. And the point of a relationship â it has to work for both. Youâd better work on both, 'cause if you donât, then ultimately itâs not sustainable.â
