In the movie Star Trek: Generations the almost bad guy(the epic Malcolm McDowell) says:
“They say time is the fire in which we burn. Right now, Captain, my time is running out. We leave so many things unfinished in our lives. I know you understand.”
Picard then replied in his always wonderful way. “I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we’ve lived.”
And this is so true.
A dear friend told me once that how we live each moment and each day is how we live our lives. God, she was so right.

I’ve got friends and colleagues all over the world that keep me up alot, so much interesting stuff that my sleep schedule is just weird. But the last few nights I’ve been up sometimes til 8 talking to Melissa. She doesn’t much. lol.

Pet peeve of the day
People in my office don’t know how to shut off for the day. The day ends at 5, and I get emails at like 7 asking me to do stuff for tomorrow. Like, get a life. My last job, you legit would have got yelled at if you emailed at 7 at night. We knew how to shut off for the night. My current job, I swear they work 24:7. Ugh. Hate this job. Can’t wait to go back to my old job at some point next year.

This is is the dish strainer my roomie/landlord wants me to buy. 60 bucks, really. I mean it’s nice but we don’t even use the plastic one we have now. And I especially don’t. I was and put away whatever I use immediately.

Probably belongs in the food thread but I’m just that much of a rebel. I put, on purpose some high quality tartar sauce along with mustard, pickles and cheese on a a great turkey sammich and I’m digging’ it.
