Well news on squirrels in general from the hubby.
When we have the left over bird seeds that my flock is done with we pour it outside for the outsiders.
I saw him pouring it in the front yard and I told him not a fan of that.
The next day after I saw him doing it again and I again talked to him about it. He said this time is different it is right by the road. Maybe if we are lucky basically they will come eat the seeds and get hit by cars.
