TE3 is doing well and getting stronger! It got out of the bowl and did some exploring today before returning to rest in the fluffy new bedding that Mrs. T brought in. She also brought in three fish and fed TE3 until its crop was bulging and it was a wonder the peaglet could stand!

TE3 is 11 days, 11 hours old as I write this - make a wish! - and its thermal down is coming in nicely. Talons crossed for Thursday and Friday: if Mrs. T can keep TE3 under her Mombrella, the little eagletā€™s changes of succumbing to hypothermia will be greatly diminished.

Weā€™ve been getting questions about Mr. T. For those of you who donā€™t know, he appears to have abandoned the nest for a nest and female about 1700 feet west. However, he has been heard near the nest. We donā€™t know, but we thought he might have interested in a fish that Mrs. T brought to the nest.

April 22, 2025: TE3 shows us its emerging thermal down tracts. If it can make it through the next couple of days, its risk of succumbing to hypothermia will greatly diminish.

But I have a couple blisters on my throat. And they are what hurt so much right now. Should hopefully be gone by the end of the week. Making eating or drinking horrific
