Good morning, everyone.

Sox can’t lose tonight, right? Or can they find a way?

I need this explained

The Boston Red Sox are currently 10th in pitching, and 7th in offense… How in the hell with stats like that are we not even at .500???

You would be hard pressed to find a team that is top 10 in every category and still under .500… Low and behold the Red Sox manage to do that.

I would bet they are near the bottom with runners left in scoring position.

If I’m reading this correctly, Sox are #2 in strikeouts at 522. The Angels are #1 at 534.

I don’t see runners left in scoring position even though that was my search criteria.

Sue is going to The Sole tomorrow and bringing me this:

Chicken piccata: Sautéed chicken breast tossed with linguine in a lemon-caper butter sauce.

So we are getting hits and home runs. But not when it counts

We led the majors last year in base runners stranded. Doing the same thing again this year.

Amazing. Don’t see a top ten offensive team and top ten pitching not even at .500 too often.

Embarrassing

The frustrating part too is when we have a lead or a chance to win the game, the Bullpen blows it. Two games ago we had a 1-0 lead in the 9th, and Chapman blew it.

5 runs last night and lose in extras.

The entire team is just wildly inconsistent. If the pitching is great, we leave base runners stranded just like last year… And if we put up 6 plus runs, the bullpen blows it.

I believe this is “left on base per game” and the Sox are way up there at 7.36.
