This German Art Student, along with fellow Art Student Klaus Voormann, had a huge influence on the early image of the Beatles. It was through their association with Kirchherr and Voormann that the Beatles adopted their mop-top haircuts and collar-less jackets, which set them apart image-wise from other rock bands in England at the time.
She was a very good photographer, and it didn’t hurt that she was a pretty Pixie Girl.
