Wow, Joolz hope no backlash but Bid placed a warning, I think the mantra there is let them play. I am not sure. At one point it should have split into serious football and tailgate football forum as two groups emerged and sucked listening to the take themselves too serious types bitch both ways.
And only one mod was active.

The last two people to escape East Berlin before the Wall fell were Hans-Peter Spitzner and his daughter Peggy.
They escaped by talking a US Army Sergeant named Eric Yaw into letting them hide in the trunk of his Toyota Camry as he drove back through Checkpoint Charlie to the American Sector.
Sergeant Yaw took some flak from his commanding officer for successfully pulling off this stunt. Can you imagine what would have happened had they been caught by the East German Stasi or Volkspolizei?
Spitzner and his daughter re-united with his wife Ingrid in a place called Idar-Oberstein; Ingrid had been on an authorized 5-day visit to Austria at the time. She surely would have been pinched by the Stasi had Hans-Peter not reached her before she returned to the DDR at the end of the five days.
And … I’ve been to Idar-Oberstein. I visited one of my brothers there in the 80s, while he was stationed there with the Army. Nice place. Good local beer, and strangers said Guten Tag to you when you walked by them.

I fortunately don’t get hungover. Honestly, if I went through the misery I’ve seen people go through over the years I likely wouldn’t drink.
