No.

Whatever punishment MLB hands down will be public. It won’t be top secret double probation.

And besides, the Sox got exactly what they wanted. The got rid of Prices contract, they reset the competitive balance tax for 2021, they got a major league ready OFer with All Star potential to replace Betts and a couple of decent prospects to start rebuilding their barren farm system.
