I start a new prescription tomorrow. I’m nervous. For my rosacea adult acne

It’s called accutane. Very potent drug with horrible side effects but it works good. I did it when I was 19. Will be a rough 6 months, but should clear me up!!

I won’t get into the side effects but you folks can look it up if you want. It basically kills your oil glands so your body stops producing oil. Hence horrible side effects

Was hoping for a small dose but got 40 mg. That’s pretty big. But could be worse. Some are on 80 mg. Hoping side effects won’t be killer
