Even if they did trade for Otanhi they would have to sign him to a gigantic contract. Not sure I would give up all those prospects but if I did I would have a contract signed before any deal is made. Can’t give all that up for a rental

They will be asking for a lot plus the farm, so it’s nerve wrecking for sure. Likely Bello goes, which hurts… .He is our best young pitcher… With that said Ohtani is 29 and still has his best years ahead of him… I really do think adding him would make us contenders… Assuming he doesn’t get hurt like everyone else does on the friggin team.
