This is a slowly dying sport in this country. They need to be as visible as possible with games and such to keep and gain the interest of the younger generations.
Yup, the ratings would soar, now is the time to play and implement a few rules to speed up the game. Changes I would make, I would almost go with a 7 inning game. I would DH both leagues, add the pitch clock, and not allow pitchers to face only one batter unless it ends an inning - a new pitcher can start the next inning.
but hell I’m just a fan.
