Who knows. Patriots might surprise some but going through Kansas City and Baltimore looks nearly impossible.
Wouldâve had to do that anyway, most likely.
But:
- Beat Miami at home, get an extra week of rest for your hurt QB and best WR (Edelman), host KC in the second round
- Have to beat OAK/TEN/PIT at home next week so you can go on the road to play KC
This loss just moved the goalposts a whole extra football field away.

Ya, it will be tough thatâs for sure. If there is any team in the NFL that can surprise people though itâs New England. Only scary thing is Brady seemed sore on the sideline when he was throwing.
