I’m so thankful me and Leah.l both work for the government and make about 130,000 a year.

Mortgage, daycare, gas, property tax, groceries, bills and utilities. Works out to be about 6,000 a month. It’s so tight for us lately man. We make good money and legit just get by! And Canada is one of the more affordable countries ! It’s crazy but taxes are high here is the unfortunate part.

My take home should be about 6 grand a month but it’s more like 3,200 after taxes

But I won’t complain. Me and Leah ah e a good life! Not much in savings, but nice house, and kids are spoiled ! So we don’t complain !

I always bug my dad about his generation because he has a lot saves. He’s probably sitting on a half million or more

He built his house for 40,000 and it’s worth about 450,000 now. Hahaha. But he did work hard for his money. He was a steel worker. But I always tease him about how easy it was in his day. He tells me to shut my hole lmao
