implement rules to minimize the impact of the OT coin toss
I don’t understand why doing OT like they do in college doesn’t get more support in the NFL. The coin toss only determines who is on offense first in the initial possession and that’s it (usually the team that wins the toss chooses defense) It guarantees both teams get an equal number of possessions and eliminates all that boring ass punting and kickoffering. Plus it provides natural breaks for the tv stations to shill their products. It just seems like a win win.
