Just a quick aside…
In addition to being the 1st AFC championship since 2010 not to include the Patriots it’s only the 3rd since 1994 to not include at least one of the Patriots, Ravens, Colts, Steelers or Broncos.
If you were to add Buffalo, the string runs back to 1984.
If you include the Dolphins and Raiders amount the subset, only 3 AFC championships ever have not included at least one these 8 franchises.
