Yes, I am a huge Patriots fan. I was a season tix holder from Bledsoe’s rookie year through 2009 (my boys were born in '07 and '09 so I was ready to watch from the couch with them by this time).

I never wished for the Brady-era to end here but I am kind of enjoying the rebuild. I never realized what it must be like for Yankee fans until the 2000-2010’s Pats as it started to feel more like a goddamn stressful job.

My youngest who is 13 pitches (older one does not) and had a real tough time with his control - to the point where he didn’t pitch at all for at least a month. Before we went camping, his team was getting trounced by an undefeated team and it was the 2nd to last game before he playoffs (and we were going to be away for the 1st playoff game). He goes in with the bases loaded, induces a grounder and then K’d the next kid. One run scored on the grounder but it had already been about a 7-run inning. Next inning he comes in and K’s the side on 10 pitches.

Awe man. Sorry to hear that about him. Control can happen to anyone. Sometimes at that age they over think it and can make it worse , even happens with pitchers in the big leagues! Sometimes it gets in your head and you become your own worst enemy. Success or no success to a baseball season, having fun is the main thing. Of course you want to be competitive and win but seasons like that happen to everyone I’m sure.

The weather here is nice today just a perfect day. I think around 70 F. That is my ideal weather Not too cold and not too hot! Just perfect. I can sit on the deck and have a beer.
