I know we won a championship with Cora and did extremely well last year, but he is doing some EXTREMELY questionable things this year with the pitching… Why the hell did Hill not go 6 or 7? He easily could have…

Just checked. We are 17th in pitching and 17 in offnese.
When you don’t even have an average offense or pitching, you aren’t going to win many games. That is just the sad reality of it unfortunately. This team will win a few games, but until one of these categories improve we won’t win many games at all.
Again, why is Cora not letting the starters go longer??? It makes zero sense.
Eovaldi 2.51 ERA
Whitlock 1.25 ERA
Wacha 1.38 ERA
Pivetta 7.84 ERA (not great, but he has been much better his last two games)
Hill 2.86 ERA
All great ERA’s for our starters except Pivetta, but he will get it going…
Nate is the only pitcher that has gone 7 this year and 6. The others go 4 or 5 tops… No wonder our pitching stats suck. Bullpens should not have to go 4 or 5 innings. That is ridiculous.

You didn’t miss much. I am just bitching about Cora lol. He doesn’t leave starters in for shit anymore. 4 or 5 innings tops and he pulls them no matter how good they are pitching, it’s extremely annoying.

At this rate though, the team is showing absolutely nothing that they can get on track. Losing to friggin Baltimore and now this… They just look flat out bad.
Cora continues to pull starters early and it’s going to cost us a ton more games.
Red Sox are a complete train wreck right now. Terrible offense, terrible bullpen. Our starters are good but since they only go 4 or 5 innings, it doesn’t help much. Team needs some serious help badly.
Even when Sale is back and if he pitches good, it won’t do shit because he will likely only pitch 3 or 4 innings tops.
