News on DH3!
~ New Providence and DH3 Continue Rehab ~
The hatch-year 2026 (HY26) Bald Eagles DH3 and New Providence are still in the 60-ft flight pen. Both are making great progress in landing, steering, and building stamina.
New Providence was admitted one month before DH3 without injury - she just needed to finish growing in feathers and gain weight.
The adult Bald Eagle continues to be the eagle role-model! It is so important for these youngsters to be with other eagles gaining social skills.

On the far high perch is (L-R): New Providence, DH3, and an adult. New Providence does not have any white markings on chest or wings as does DH3. So pretty easy to tell them apart.
DH3 is making great progress in the 60-ft flight pen, flying the length and sticking his landings.
