She was home until I think I was around 11 or so then she was the medical records manger for a medical center

It was a different world though when I was kid. We lived in the country & we were pretty much free range kids in the summer. Playing baseball, swimming, whatever. I did break my wrist crashing on my bike. My older brother said just put some ice on it 
I called Ma at work & she came home & immediately took me to the Dr. where she worked
