Not sure what Winston’s play is here. Is he expecting Brees to go down this year? Is he expecting to show them his work ethic so he takes over the reins after Brees retires? Is he just parking himself for a year with a paycheck so he can either be trade bait for the Saints mid-season, or, worst case, go out onto the free agent market again next year?
