JBJ Designated for Assignment

This makes me sad but a .578 OPS in August is woefully bad.

I will miss him because, despite his flaws, he’s been my favorite Red Sox of this current era. I try to pinpoint why that is and I always come back to his defense but then I think - why not Mookie, then? He was just as good a defender.

Anyway, I don’t know why, I just know this makes me a little sad.
