That was bizarre. Pitcher came out to play first base and then they put him back in to pitch, right? I think Cora was questioning the batting order.

Anyone happen to see Hembree’s facial expression when he walked off the mound when Cora pulled him? He allowed a double and a walk (intentional maybe). He was smirking like the situation was amusing. I truly think there’s something up with this team.

Sox used to put Tom Burgmeyer in left for a batter and return him to the mound.
Not sure. Now, I’m only repeating what I read in comments here and there on the Interweb (sorry, no links). There are some that believe there is a divide in the clubhouse due to Cora’s political stance.
Granted, I know it’s easier for a team to be happy when they are winning, but to my eye this is an unhappy team that doesn’t really care if they win or lose.
