My thoughts on this team lately, ever since we went on that nine game win streak we are 8-9 since that stretch. Bullpen has been blowing it lately for us. Ottavino today, Sawamura yesterday. We scored 6 runs and 5 runs. More than enough to win these games. The bullpen just simply needs to be better, no way around that. With that said, the starting rotation has been very good. E Rod had a clunker yesterday but still gave us 5 innings and a chance to win. Richards has now gone 12 innings and only given up 2 runs. Pivetta has also been excellent. This team simply needs to have better bullpen OR we need more help from the bats. Martinez, Vaz, Verdugo, Xander and Devers have been solid but otherwise our next best hitter is Hernandez who is averaging .230. We will find out more about this team in the coming weeks, but they have been very average the last 17 games.
