More than one doctor talked about “crystal becoming dislodged” and this is from the article above.
“Other structures (otolith organs) in your ear monitor your head’s movements — up and down, right and left, back and forth — and your head’s position related to gravity. These otolith organs contain crystals that make you sensitive to gravity.”
“For many reasons, these crystals can become dislodged. When they become dislodged, they can move into one of the semicircular canals — especially while you’re lying down. This causes the semicircular canal to become sensitive to head position changes it would normally not respond to, which is what makes you feel dizzy.”
So, the crystals have to go back to where they belong. There’s a maneuver that can be done by a professional but I’m not a candidate because of surgery on my spine at the C-level and existing hardware.

Interesting you mention that. I had a tad bit of dizyness I brought up to my eye doctor when I went for my optometrist appointment. He brought up the crystal thing too. Said sometimes it just happens and there isn’t much you can do.

Yes, the Meclizine helps with dizziness. I assume this is while the crystals are repositioning.
