Funny Story. When I was little, I guess 5 or 6 so around 1971-72 They still had the draft for the Vietnam War. On TV , like the sports ticker today, they would run the birthdates of the men being drafted. Anyway I saw July 9 which is my B-day. I’m not even sure I was able to read but I did recognize my birthday. I started crying & telling my ma I have to go to Vietnam! She just says no Jackie you’re not going anywhere. Dad comes home & says, so Jackie are you packed & ready! Ma!!!
