It is a great story. I had a friend here in MA and she went to work for AmeriCorps in a rather remote part of WA. Iām not all that adventurous, but she is. So, during that trip I was talked into a lot of fun firsts. Horseback riding, camping, skydiving, whitewater rafting, snowboarding, much craft brew imbibing, etc. Portland was closer than Seattle, so most of our time was spent in Oregon. She surprised me with tickets to the R.E.M. concert.
