Morrissey was headlining at then Great Woods in Mansfield, MA in 1991 and his opening act had gotten sick. He called upon Boston-based indie singer, Melissa Ferrick to join him on the tour. I became a forever fan and follow her to this day.

She’s currently a Professor at Northeastern in Boston but is still touring, playing small venues in New England. I’m partial to her first two albums Massive Blur and Willing to Wait. Her discography consists of close to 20 albums.
