Lol, I also know lots of American women that hate hockey,. In fact I just know a ton of Americanâs in general that hate hockey lol. Women in the USA more like football and baseball over hockey. Hockey is just not near as big in USA as it is in Canada.

I will politely disagree. If they can have a hockey team in North Carolina that has won the Stanley cup I think there are a lot of fans around theyappreciate that what they do

Back when I used to have my yoga instagram account and had over 10 thousand followers (most were American women) so many hated Hockey lol and always asked what the appeal was⌠Lol. I said âI dunno, I love it lmaoâ To each their own.

Of course they have to have American teams, NHL wouldnât survive without American teams, and if you look at the Population of the USA compared to Canada yes there are more fans in general, but if you are doing this based on per capita itâs not even close. Hockey is Canadaâs game, and the average American would choose baseball, football and even basketball over Hockey.
In Canada, the average male will pick Hockey before any other sport lol. Not saying hockey isnât popular in the USA, but itâs nothing what it is in Canada⌠Over all though it seems more men enjoy hockey than women⌠With that said there are still a ton of women that love hockey. Leah loves baseball, and football but for some reason not big on the NHL> She will watch for me, but if the Oilers play back to back she gets sick of it.

This is a great link that shows where hockey stands in USA, waaaay behind NFL.
Here in Canada, NHL would be way more popular than NFL.
